After spending many hours interviewing and searching for a realtor, I made the decision to use Rob Udell to help me sell my home in Irvine.
Although I did not know Rob personally, he came highly recommended from very close friends so I hoped he was as professional and dedicated as I had heard from those close to me. Selling my Irvine home of 18 years was a bit difficult - emotionally, physically and spiritually. It was my house, my home, my haven, as well as my children's only home they had ever known.

Before meeting Rob my husband and I had placed offers on over 10 homes in Irvine only to be defeated by all cash offers and/or buyers willing to pay above market.
We met Rob and were drawn to his charasmatic yet practical approach. We could tell he had a lot of experience selling and buying homes in Irvine and the surrounding areas. Right from the start Rob gave us some hope that finding the perfect home was possible.

As former real estate agent, I had the opportunity to work with and also observe hundreds of RE agents interacting with buyers, sellers and prospective clients. Rob is definitely one of a kind, who stands out from 99% of the industrys agents with his charismatic and professional demeanor.
On our recent visit to Orange County my wife and I had the opportunity of meeting with Rob on Tue. discussed our RE requirements, Wed viewed 3 properties, Sat viewed 3 properties of which one captured our interest, but had an offer being countered. Over the past 4 months, my wife Judi and I have had the pleasure of working with Rob Udell and his wife Candie on the purchase of our new home and the sale of our existing home in Irvine. We cannot say enough about the service, commitment and long hours they put in to make these transactions happen. The day before we were to move into our new home, Rob was at the house at 5am with his sleeves rolled-up, moving a few old items of furniture into a dumpster that the old owner had left behind. He even made sure repairs were made to our new home, at no cost to us, that we had not found during our initial walk through.

What a wonderful experience Frank and I had working with you and Candie when we purchased a home in Newport Beach. Somewhat unusual, we had never been to Newport Beach but had chosen the location for our second home based on recommendations of our friends in Palm Desert.
So, not only were you challenged with acquainting two New Yorkers with the entire real estate situation in Newport Beach in two days, but also with the problem that we knew "exactly what we wanted" without regard to whether our dream actually existed in the area.
You understood the assignment with such enthusiasm and purpose that it was as though you always had clients so thoroughly unprepared. Not only was your introduction to Newport Beach thorough and far reaching, but it was really fun. It seemed that you had nothing better to do, although your cell phone debunked anything of the sort.
Within two days, we had identified the property that fit our physical and financial objectives in a lovely gated community with views of the city and the ocean. The following week we revisited the scene, saw some additional properties, and made our decision. With your expert guidance, we bid on and won the property.
But your and Candie's work still was not done. There were issues with the HOA and the owner to deal with, details within the property that needed attention and a gardner to find and pay. You two took wonderful care of these details and continue to represent us while we attempt to sell our home back East. If only you two could come East and get this transaction completed as well.

I am writing this letter to inform you of our recent experience with a realtor working in your office. Both my wife and I have been involved in the real estate industry our entire careers.
I am responsible for the operations of a residential development firm as well as a general contracting company and my wife has been a residential appraiser for over 20 years. We are both licensed realtors, reside in Irvine and come into contact with realtors on an almost daily basis.
We have never met a realtor that has provided the professionalism and customer service that Rob Udell provided us during two recent residential transactions in the City of Irvine. To say that we were pleased with the way in which he conducted himself while representing our interests would be an understatement.
Rob displayed an attitude and demeanor that went above and beyond what would be considered the norm in this industry, and we consider ourselves fortunate to have had Rob represent us in these transactions which were by no means straight forward. The property that we sold had an uncooperative renter that Rob dealt with on a regular basis. He completely organized the remodel of that home in order to make it ready to market. The purchaser of that property was from out of town and had hired a realtor completely unfamiliar with the Irvine market. Rob was able to "hold their hands" until they closed on their property. We completed a 1031 Exchange on the property that we purchased, with a leaseback to the sellers, and Rob's help was invaluable.
We cannot say enough about our experience with Rob, and although we have many close friends in the real estate industry, we will never deal with any other realtor but Rob Udell.
